I invest my own money in a small number of companies I pick myself. There's no fund behind it. Usually I do more than just put in money.
I look for companies with a clear model and a founder who has done it before, or clearly has it in them. And a market I understand, even when it moves in cycles.
Sometimes I'm an active partner. More often I'm a shareholder at a distance who weighs in when it counts. I bring twenty years of building, selling and buying, and a network that opens doors.
